| | | | | | | | Hi Guest,
Happy New Year from all of us at Java Capital! As we step into 2026, India’s DeepTech landscape continues to accelerate, fueled by engineering breakthroughs, climate innovation, and a growing partnership between industry, academia, and the startup ecosystem.
December brought a wave of meaningful progress across India’s DeepTech and ClimateTech sectors. The Indian Semiconductor Mission announced new collaborations with global equipment suppliers to bolster local chip fabrication readiness. At the same time, the Department of Science and Technology rolled out fresh funding calls focused on quantum computing, photonics, and AI research translation. On the climate front, the government approved new pilot projects under the National Green Hydrogen Mission and launched climate-tech innovation hubs in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu, showing India’s commitment to transforming deep science into scalable sustainability solutions.
At Java Capital, we wrapped the year with a milestone moment, the inaugural edition of the Java Capital Deep Tech Dialogues and Founder Showcase in San Diego. The event brought together founders, researchers, investors, and ecosystem leaders to discuss how India’s DeepTech ventures can scale globally. From our portfolio, Agnikul Cosmos fired its dual electric pump-fed rocket engines to a steady performance, a key step toward its vision of 100 reusable small rocket launches per year by 2030.
As we begin the new year, we want to extend our gratitude to all our founders, co-investors, investors, and readers for your continued belief and support. Here’s to another year of bold ideas, deep science, and transformative innovation, building the future, together. Onwards and upwards!
