Hi Guest,

Across India, October brought fresh progress at the policy level. The Emerging Science Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC 2025) in New Delhi put DeepTech at the forefront with three major homegrown scientific breakthroughs being unveiled. India’s first quantum security chip (QSIP), India's first quantum computing chip (25-qubit QPU)India’s first indigenous cancer cell therapy (CAR-T Cell Therapy). We also saw several government initiatives like the ₹1 lakh crore RDI Scheme, a $1 billion allocation to the India Deep Tech Alliance, and Karnataka’s new Startup Policy. These are now setting the tone for long-horizon evolution of the DeepTech ecosystem.

At Java Capital, the month saw new alliances and recognition for our team. Java Capital signed a landmark MoU with i-Hub, Government of Gujarat, to jointly nurture DeepTech and Climate Tech startups emerging from the state. Bhargavi, Partner at Java Capital, was recognised as a Next-Gen VC Leader Shaping India’s AI Future and Anirudh, our Principal, was recognised as one of the Top Innovation Catalysts shaping India’s venture capital landscape.

Our portfolio companies continued to gain national attention during the month with Agnikul Cosmos simultaneously firing two semi-cryo engines, precisely balanced via their electric pump control software and SatLeo Labs being featured on SpaceNews for preparing to launch its first thermal-imaging payload.

Keep reading for more exciting updates from Java Capital!

Regards,

Team Java
